The Burnaby Farmers' Market is wrapping up for the season this month, with the last market on Oct. 27.

This Saturday, the market is hosting a scarecrow contest. Contestants should make their scarecrows at home and bring them to the market for the competition. There are prizes for winners in categories ranging from under five years old to adults.
