Warning signs at Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park didn't stop people from enjoying the trails on the weekend, but the city has closed some sections of Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park and the trails between Boundary and Byrne roads due to flooding. Those who visit the park are advised to stay back from the river and to keep dogs on leashes. The City of Burnaby is also conducting daily patrols of the city's dykes along the river. As of Tuesday, the B.C. River Forecast Centre was predicting the river level would rise slightly by today (Wednesday) and could rise again at the end of this week.
