Following a media storm last week calling for his identity, a Burnaby man has turned himself in to the authorities.
The 38-year-old resident allegedly committed three sexual assaults aboard a SkyTrain car on Aug. 31, according to a Transit Police media release. His charges are currently pending.
"The suspect was witnessed touching three women on the train in a sexual manner," the release states. "Only the first victim identified herself to the police."
Transit Police is asking the second and third victims to come forward and provide a statement in the case.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incidents is asked to call 604-515-8300.
