Vancouver band Magic Ass broke up in 2004, but before they shuffled off this mortal coil they recorded a seven-minute opus in honour of Mount Pleasant’s quirky Kingsgate Mall and its “amenities and rich design,” complete with shout-outs to Scalie Shoes, Buy-Low Foods and Karen from the drugstore.
