If you're interested in the art of printmaking, you may want to stop by the Metrotown library branch.

The Burnaby Art Gallery has an outreach exhibition on at the Burnaby Public Library's Bob Prittie branch until March 11.

The retrospective exhibition covers 25 years of exploration of different printmaking techniques by Sabina Proulx, an artist from Shawnigan Lake.

Various mediums - including etching, linocut, collograph, multiple plate reduction, divided block printing and photo etching - are among those represented in the exhibition.

Information from the gallery notes that Proulx's work has been inspired by nature and by international exposure to a variety of cultures after a childhood spent in different parts of Europe, Africa and North America.

Proulx is a member of Victoria's Ground Zero Printmakers Society, and this is her first solo exhibition in the Lower Mainland.

The Bob Prittie library, at 6100 Willingdon Ave., is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
