WORK
Illuminated wood works created using pine beetle wood and LED lighting
WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT
Beaumont has used pine beetle wood, with its distinct bluish-grey stain, and then hollowed, mitred and glued them together into drum-like shapes, using glass and colour-changing LED lighting to illuminate each piece. They stand about 16 inches high – the height of a seat or an end table.
