Meet the Trollsens in Burnaby this Thursday

Burnaby’s annual Summer Fun at Civic Square events kick off this Thursday, starting with The Trollsens, an all-ages show for the family where everyone is welcome to join in the performance of the Scandinavian folk tale, The One-Eyed Troll .

Burnaby’s annual Summer Fun at Civic Square events kick off this Thursday, starting with The Trollsens, an all-ages show for the family where everyone is welcome to join in the performance of the Scandinavian folk tale, The One-Eyed Troll.
The Trollsens takes place from 7 to 7:45 p.m., followed by the Circus Show from 8 to 8:45 p.m. There will be acrobatics, clowns and jugglers, as well as free face painting and roving entertainment.
Next Thursday, July 19, is Science World Live, featuring spectacular science demonstrations, from 7 to 7:45 p.m., and at 8 p.m. it's performer Dianna David, using hip hop dancing, miming, shadow play, clowning, multimedia and contact juggling. 
July 26 is How Raven Stole the Sun, with Indigenous educational storyteller Dallas Yellowfly from 7 to 7:45 p.m. and V'ni Dansi, a Vancouver-based traditional Métis amd contemporary dance company from 8 to 8:45 p.m.
And on Aug. 2, the Purple Pirate's Magic Pirate Ship takes the stage from 7 to 7:45 p.m., and Ruploops the Human Radio is on from 8 to 8:45 p.m.
Summer Fun at Civic Square takes place on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Civic Square is beside Bob Prittie Library at Kingsborough Street and MacKay Avenue.
