The Burnaby RCMP is asking the public's assistance in locating 33-year-old Dallas Campbell Yurko, who was on parole for property crime offences when he violated the conditions of his parole.

Yurko has subsequently failed to appear in court and warrants were issued for his arrest.

The Burnaby RCMP's prolific offender suppression team believes that Yurko is responsible for recent property crimes within Burnaby and is warning the public that he has been known to be violent in the past and has been known to carry weapons.

"If located, do not approach (Yurko) and call your local police immediately," Cpl. Rick Skolrood of the Burnaby RCMP said in a press release.

Yurko is described as 5-10 tall, 140 lbs, with brown eyes, short brown hair, sometimes described as dirty blonde, and he occasionally has facial hair.

Anyone with information on Yurko's whereabouts is asked to contact the Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922.
