The Burnaby RCMP are looking for the public's assistance in locating an Asian woman who has been missing since July 15.

Yanting (Lancy) Hu was last seen on Friday, July 15, between 8 and 9 p.m., by her husband.

Hu had been dropped off at her apartment near the Metropolis at Metrotown shopping centre and has not been seen since.

Her husband became worried when she missed several appointments this week and he couldn't contact her to return their two small children after the weekend.

Hu does not have a vehicle and uses public transportation.

She is described as a 27-year-old Asian woman, 5-7 tall, 119 lbs, with shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes and wearing glasses. She speaks both English and Mandarin.

The Burnaby RCMP serious crime unit is actively investigating this disappearance and are requesting help from the public.
