For decades, Keith Lynn Alternative secondary has provided another educational option for students across the North Shore. On June 24, staff and students (both current and former) attended a barbecue send-off marking the closure of their building on Shavington St. in North Vancouver.

In the fall, the KLASS program will be consolidated with other alternative school programs, and move into the former site of Balmoral junior secondary. Guests were treated to food, games, a slide show and viewed framed collages filled with hundreds of photos from past cohorts.
