The Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society held their inaugural pancake breakfast and toy drive at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown on Friday morning to benefit the Burnaby Christmas Bureau.

The event featured performances from Jim Byrnes and country artist AJ Woodworth, as well as the Vancouver Fire and Rescue Service Band.

Firefighters flipped pancakes and Mr. and Mrs. Claus made an appearance.

NOW representative Cynthia Hendrix was on hand and snapped some pictures of the festivities.
