Two women die and their alleged killer may get off because of a delay.

A guy breaks the property of a major chain store; he is charged, convicted and sent to jail. Does this mean the property of corporations is more important than the lives of regular, average citizens? Do we need more prisons and tougher laws or do we need to rethink what we have now?
