Simon Fraser University is going out of its way to offer students more culinary options with its Street Eat Thursday initiative.

Every Thursday, the university invites a food cart vendor to the Burnaby Mountain campus, to serve street fare to students.

"We started it in the summer, and it was really successful," said Kelly Doole, from SFU's dining services department. "We figured we'd bring some of the best food carts up here."

Japadog was the first guest vendor on Sept. 6, drawing lone lineups for Japanese-style hotdogs.

The initiative will run till the end of November. You can find the guest food carts between the academic quadrangle and the Seywell courtyard, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Thursday.
