The Burnaby Village Museum is hosting spring break storybook scavenger hunts this week, with clues left by villains, heroes and quirky characters from classic children's stories throughout the museum site, according to its website.

Children search for items on the scavenger hunt list and, once the hunt is complete, are eligible for a prize from the general store.

There are also crafts and live performances by storytellers, as well as the usual museum offerings such as carousel rides and lunch and treats at the Ice Cream Parlour.

The event runs daily until Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. There is special event pricing for these spring break activities. For more information, call 604-297-4565. jfuller-evans@burnabynow.com
