The under-18 Burnaby Selects Royals will play for a berth into the Provincial Cup on Thursday, March 14 at Hjorth Park (148 th & 102 ave) in Surrey. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.

The Royals will be playing Richmond United in a League tiebreaker game. The winner will decide the league champion and will also earn a berth to the B.C. A Cup provincials in July in Langley. The loser will be the league runner-up.

The teams will be seeded as number 1 and 2 seeds, respectively, in the B.C. Coastal Cup championship, which starts on April 6 and 7, with the finals scheduled for May 4 and 5. The Coastal Cup finalists will also qualify for a berth for the B.C. provincials in July.

The Burnaby Selects have two teams qualified for the A Cup provincials - the under-14 and under-16 boys' teams.

Tryouts are now posted on the Selects website for the 2013-2014 playing season for boys u-13 to u18, and girls u-13, u-14 and u-16 age groups.
