Burnaby Minor C4 bantams defeated Burnaby Minor C1 in an all-Burnaby final for the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association Presidents League orange group championship banner held at the Richmond Ice Centre on March 9th.

After a very tight first period, William Watson opened the scoring in the second period for the C4 side to finish off a great effort by team captain Patrick Leong.

That lead held up until the dying seconds of the second period when Michael Milosavljevic scored a goal with a hard slap shot on a beautiful rush up the right wing to make the score 2-0.

The C1 team made a valiant effort to close the gap in the third but thanks to excellent goaltending by both C4 goalies Jeffery Kong and Alex Fediaev, and another goal from William Watson, C4 managed to hold on for the 3-1 victory.

The game capped off a great regular season for both teams. Burnaby C4's season will continue during the spring break with tournament play in Delta, where the team hopes to challenge for another championship.
