The Burnaby Devils Girls' field lacrosse team won the varsity division at the University of Oregon 7-on-7 Tournament on Feb. 2.

The win was a double treat for Lower Mainland teams, with Burnaby winning the older division and the Coquitlam Adanacs taking the junior varsity group.

Burnaby went undefeated in the round-robin, winning seven games and tying just one. The Devils beat teams from Washington and Oregon states, before winning their quarter-final and semifinal games. Burnaby defeated Triple Threat from California 6-3 in the championship final.
