The Burnaby Mountain Mantas posted 40 podium finishes, including 11 firstplace swims at the Burnaby Barracudas A/B summer swim meet at Central Park pool last weekend.

Kenneth Ng led the way with three wins in Division 5 boys' races, including the 100-metre freestyle, butterfly and breaststroke. Ng also finished runnerup in the 50m free.

Jun Jay Liu posted a couple of wins in Div. 7 boys 100m backstroke and free.

Lauryn Sartori placed first in Div. 3 girls' 100m free and second in the 50m free and breast.

Derek Shi had four topthree placements in Div. 2, including a first in the 50m breast. Shi also placed second in the 100m individual medley and third in both 50 and 100m free.

Mabel Ng finished first, second and third in the Div. 7 girls' 100m free, 50m fly and 100m back, respectively.

Sayla Briggs won the 50m free in girls' Div. 3, as well as finishing second and third, respectively, in the 50m fly and 100m free.

Tessa Fisk touched first in the girls' Div. 1 IM. Fisk also placed second in the 50m fly and third in the 50m free.

Deryck-James Tsang also finished first in the Div. 2 boys' 50m fly.

Other multi-medallists included Bryan Yu, Kevin Wei, Armaan Basi, Bryan Cheung and Jacky Tung.

Jessica Liu, Jasmine Morrison, Jacob Ng, Desiree Wu and Lane Allen also posted a topthree finish.
