The South Burnaby Metro Club under-15 Wild Dogs won the 4District Commonwealth Cup in the Silver 2 Division with a 3-2 win over the North Vancouver Flames.

The Wild Dogs dominated with shots and kept the ball in their opponents side of the field but received no breaks. Instead North Van, while being outplayed, scored.

Burnaby was down 1-0 at the end of the first half. However, they answered with a quick goal within the first two minutes of the second half and soon after took the lead. Feeling a taste of victory South Burnaby let their guards down and gave North Van an easy late goal that left the game all tied at 2-2.

With the clock ticking a sense of urgency emerged once again and their speedy forward Justin Hare would lead the celebration with a goal to lead his team to the Championship Trophy.
