Canadian ice dance champions ZhaoKai Pang of Burnaby and Madeline Edwards will make their first-ever appearance at the world junior figure skating championships this week in Milan, Italy.

The ice dance pair competed at two International Skating Union Grand Prix events this season, winning bronze in both Courchevel, France and Istanbul, Turkey.

Former Burnaby resident Nam Nguyen will take part in the junior men's competition.
