A Hastings Little League all-star team won a provincial championship title last Saturday.
The all-Burnaby team of nine- and 10-year-olds played perfect baseball through the eight-day tournament, winning all seven games played, including a 17-6 win over Highlands in the championship final at Andy Bilesky Park in Trail.
Hastings took on host Trail, White Rock, Dunbar, Highlands and Beacon Hill at the tourney.
Eleven of the 12 players and three coaches are all live in Burnaby. The other player is an ex-Burnaby resident.
