Hockey Legend Bobby Orr and former Canadian national women's team star Cassie Campbell-Pascal brought the Chevrolet Safe and Fun hockey program to Richmond recently. Amrick Garcha, Timofey Generalove and Troy Wansink, all from Burnaby, had their photo taken with Bobby and Cassie. The Safe and Fun hockey program is a grassroots initiative for children between the ages of five through eight designed to foster growth of the two core Safe and Fun values of respect and responsibility.

Participants were treated to on-ice fun activities with Orr, along with an off-ice program as well. Parents also got involved with Hockey Canada's presentation specifically designed for those moms and dads new to the hockey scene.
