It would be interesting, I think, to look up how many of the Vancouver Giants have gone on to greater things in the hockey world versus those lacrosse players that are currently playing away at school, have graduated from collegiate lacrosse, have been drafted into the WLL or the NLL.

If you look at the Giants, you will find that a lot of their players are from out of town, whereas there is a significant list of Delta players that fit the above criteria.

I have no wish to trash the Giants in any way, as I don't believe this issue has been caused by them, but lacrosse is such a less understood game than hockey it would be good for everyone to realize it's importance in Delta and what doors can be opened (scholastically) for our youth with this communitybased program.
