There will be telescopes and binoculars that volunteers will help you with. It is weather-dependent, so check the website at 5 p.m. to confirm whether it's still on. For more information, visit www.sfu.ca/starrynights.
2 Get cheering at the Minto Cup finals. Watch the New Westminster Salmonbellies challenge Ontario's Whitby Warriors at Queen's Park Arena, New Westminster. The best-of-five series got underway Thursday and continues with games on Friday, Aug. 23 (today) and Saturday, Aug. 24, as well as Sunday and Monday (if necessary). All games start at 8 p.m. For more information and a full schedule, visit www.bcjuniorlacrosse.com.
