We're continuing with our popular feature - our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend.

Get in the holiday spirit on Saturday Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27 at Christmas at Overlynn Mansion. Admission is by donation and includes door prizes, complimentary cider and cookies. Visitors get a guided tour of one of B.C.'s best-preserved heritage mansions. There will be displays with artisan items, specialty gifts, baked goods and poinsettias. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m. on both days. Proceeds go to the Seton Villa retirement centre. Overlynn Mansion is at 3755 McGill St.

Get shopping for Christmas at the Scandinavian craft fair on Sunday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Scandinavian Community Centre. There will be arts, crafts, Scandinavian specialties and refreshments. The centre is at 6540 Thomas St. Admission is free.

Get singing on Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Edmonds Festival of Lights. The event takes place on the corner of Kingsway and Edmonds, from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be indoor and outdoor family activities, including singalong carols. At 4: 30 p.m., the event culminates with the lighting of the Christmas tree on the street corner. There will be hotdogs, cocoa and visits from Santa.

Get giving with the Burnaby Christmas Bureau, which makes sure local families don't go without food and presents during the holidays. Donations to the bureau are not as high as hoped this year, and organizers need more help to stock up the toy room. There are many ways to get involved. Go to www. burnabycommunity connections.com to find out how to help.

Get celebrating Christmas the old-fashioned way at the Burnaby Village Museum. Starting on Saturday, Nov. 26, the museum will be decorated in a Christmas theme. There will be traditional entertainment, demonstrations, hands-on activities, scavengers hunts, visits with Father Christmas and exhibits from the early 1900s. The museum is open from noon to 4: 30 p.m. until Dec. 14. After that, they go to extended hours: noon to 8 p.m. until Jan. 1 (closed on Dec. 24 and 25). The museum is at 6501 Deer Lake Ave.
