Simon Fraser University head soccer coach Alan Koch was named the NCAA Far West region coach of the year on Tuesday.
The fourth-year coach guided the Clan men's team to the program's first-ever undefeated season and second consecutive Great Northwest conference title.
"It is a great honour to be recognized by my coaching peers with this award," said Koch in a Clan press release. - "I look forward to being able to compete for the ultimate award, a national championship soon."
