Driver catches cyclist riding inches behind Vancouver bus (VIDEO)

That's one way to go faster...
Drafting
The cyclist is drafting just a short distance behind the bus.

There's tailgating and then there's this.

A cyclist was caught on a dashcam a couple days ago only a foot or so behind a bus. The video shows the cyclist likely drafting behind the bus on Marine Drive in North Vancouver, approaching the Lions Gate Bridge exit.

Drafting is when a cyclist rides closely behind another rider in order to take advantage of the "draft" created.

The video was posted by user Doggyfish101 on Reddit where others quickly commented on how dicey the situation was and debated whether the cyclist would have enough time to react if the bus had to stop suddenly.
