Bob Potter sent in this photo of a bobcat in his backyard, taken this morning (Wednesday) around 7:30 a.m. on Windridge Drive. It's the first time he's seen a bobcat close to his home. According to Wikipedia, bobcats, which are smaller than Canada lynx, live in wooded areas and feed on rabbits, hares, chicken, geese and smaller birds as well as insects and deer. Bobcats tend to be solitary animals and quite territorial.
