Burnaby businesses will be on display next week at the annual Burnaby Board of Trade business showcase. The showcase is on Tuesday, May 14. It features 50 exhibiting businesses and three seminars, and it’s all free.

Burnaby businesses will be on display next week at the annual Burnaby Board of Trade business showcase.

The showcase is on Tuesday, May 14. It features 50 exhibiting businesses and three seminars, and it’s all free.

An estimated 4,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event, according to a write-up.

The showcase starts at 2 p.m. at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown, 6083 McKay, with the first seminar at 2:15 p.m.

Seminar topics this year include: growing your workforce with apprenticeships (2:15 p.m.); leveraging sustainability for small-medium businesses (3:15 p.m.); and supports for women-owned businesses (4:15 p.m.). Registration is required for all the seminars.

The showcase ends at 5 p.m. and is followed by the Burnaby Board of Trade’s spring mixer, which runs until 6 p.m.
