Nearly $1,800 was raised in Burnaby during the annual KidSport Day fundraiser hosted by Triple O’s restaurants.
The fundraiser, now in its ninth year, saw more than $80,000 raised provincewide for KidSport, a non-profit that raises money to help children take part in organized sports.
On KidSport Day, $1 from every combo or feature burger sold is donated to KidSport chapters across the province. Burnaby restaurants raised $1,794 for their local chapter, said a press release.
