Treat mom to something special this Mother’s Day weekend.
Stop by Lougheed Town Centre’s Mother’s Day portrait studio on Saturday or Sunday. Bring mom for her very own portrait shoot or invite the whole family for a special family shot, the choice is yours.
Folks from Chatters and The Body Shop will be onsite doing hair and make-up touch ups for mom. There will also be live music by Nikita Afonso and Sophia Danai plus giveaways and gift ideas throughout the event, according to a write-up.
And if you plan on grabbing some flowers for mom, stop by Bloom Assembly’s pop-up floral booth.
The Near and Dear will be taking the photos and every family will get one complimentary 4x6 printed photo and a digital copy.
The event is by donation with proceeds going to the Royal Columbian Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Make a donation of $10 or more and you’ll get a gift bag courtesy of Lougheed Laser Centre, while supplies last.
The booth will be open from noon to 3 p.m. on May 11 and 12. You’ll find it on the west lower level near London Drugs.
