The winners in the 20th annual Burnaby Business Excellence Awards were announced Nov. 7 at the Burnaby Business Excellence Awards gala event attended by 350 business, community and political leaders.

Co-hosted with the City of Burnaby, these annual awards recognize businesses, entrepreneurs and not-for-profits for their business success, innovation, community involvement, and environmental sustainability, said a Burnaby Board of Trade news release. This year’s awards were hosted at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown, which was also recognized at the awards gala as the 2019 inductee into the Burnaby Business Hall of Fame, the 17th business to receive the distinction.
“It is an absolute pleasure to co-host the Burnaby Business Excellence Awards with the City of Burnaby. These awards showcase what an exceptional business community we have in Burnaby. Bringing everyone together for an evening of celebration of our extraordinary, diverse and innovative business community is truly one of the highlights of the year.” says Paul Holden, BBOT president and CEO.
