Do you like burgers? Do you like helping kids? Of course you do, and on Friday, Sept. 28, Triple O’s and KidSport are teaming up for the annual KidSport Day fundraiser.
For every combo purchased, Triple O’s will donate $1 to KidSport’s Burnaby chapter. Folks are also encouraged to donate money, too, and for any donation that exceeds $1 you’ll be able to sign your name to a paper jersey that goes on the wall at the restaurant.
People can also donate at the drive-thru and online at TripleOs.com.
Can’t make it to Triple O’s on Friday? The company will continue to raise money for KidSport until Oct. 28 by donating $1 from every Stadium Burger combo sold.
“Triple O’s continues to chalk up wins in support of KidSport through their annual KidSport Dayfundraiser,” said Pete Quevillon, Director of KidSport BC in the release. “Every child should have the opportunity to play on a team, and Triple O’s helps bring that vision to life. On Sept. 28, head to your neighbourhood Triple O’s and enjoy a post-game meal. You’ll support local kids, so everybody wins.”
Last year, Burnaby Triple O’s restaurants raised $2,286 for KidSport and in 2016 they raised $1,480. This year’s goal is about $1,900 for Burnaby restaurants, according to the company.
KidSport is a community‐based program that provides grants to help financially disadvantaged children participate in organized sports.
