If you missed your chance to celebrate Robbie Burns Day, never fear: you’re getting a second chance in Burnaby.

Jubilee United Church is holding a Scottish Ceilidh with a Hint of Burns on Saturday, Feb. 9. A roast beef dinner will be served at 6 p.m., complete with the Address to the Haggis. The ceilidh will follow, led by Joe Macdonald, an accomplished piper, keyboard player and singer who will lead the crowd in song and teach a couple of Scottish dances.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children aged six to 16, or $200 for a table of nine. The event is set to run from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the church hall, 7551 Gray Ave. Call the church office at 604-434-8323 for information or tickets.
