Plan to spend Valentine’s Day enjoying some “me time”?

Make a blind date with a book.

Burnaby Public Library’s Metrotown and McGill branches are offering “Blind Date With a Book” for Valentine’s Day.

You get to choose from a special display at the library by following these simple steps:

1. Read the labels.

2. Choose your book.

3. Check it out.

4. Unwrap at home.

5. Start reading.

That means no peeking - find out what your book is after you've checked it out.

Note that the books are geared toward adults. After you've finished your book, "rate your date" and enter to win a prize draw. There's a limit of two books per card.

The Metrotown library is at 6100 Willingdon Ave., and McGill is at 4595 Albert St. See www.bpl.bc.ca for all the details.
