Is there a crafty kid in your house?

The Tommy Douglas library branch is offering up a MakerSpace: Halloween Crafts program on Thursday, Oct. 25.

Young crafters are invited to wear their costumes and drop in between 3 and 4:30 p.m. (arrive no later than 3:45 p.m.) to take part in a session of making ghosts, spooky cards and more. It’s aimed at ages five to 12, and all children under 10 need to bring a participating adult.

You don’t need to register ahead, but if you want more information, call 604-522-3971.

Then, over at the McGill library branch (4595 Albert St.), there’s a Halloween crafting session on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Children aged four and up are invited to drop by – costumes are encouraged, and caregivers must attend with children under 10.

It’s also a drop-in program, and you don’t need to sign up ahead. See www.bpl.bc.ca/events for details.
