PechaKucha Night brings powerful life stories back to Burnaby

Don’t miss out on the third edition of PechaKucha Burnaby.

The speaker series is returning to Shadbolt Centre for the Arts by popular demand, for its third instalment. It’s on Wednesday, Feb. 20, and the event is set to run from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

A PechaKucha night features slide presentations in which presenters show 20 slides for 20 seconds each, for a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

Among the presenters announced for this edition are dancer-choreographer Salome Nieto-Andrade; Dr. Suman Kollipara, a co-founder of the Peace Tree Innovations Society; Lisa Codd, curator of Burnaby Village Museum; and Walt Brandl, an analytical chemist at Merieux NutriSciences Burnaby facility and the head coach of the Burnaby Lake Rugby Club.
