Fraser Health is warning those who visited Shiraz Grill in Langley earlier this March that they may have been exposed to COVID-19 during their meal.

Fraser Health has issued another COVID-19 public exposure warning, this time for a Persian and Iranian restaurant in Langley.

The health authority on Friday afternoon released an alert warning those who attended Shiraz Grill over a period of several days earlier this March that they may have been exposed to the coronavirus during their visit.

The notice is directed at anyone who stopped by the eatery, located at 20526 Fraser Highway, between the hours of 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 12 to Sunday, March 14 or Wednesday, March 17 to Saturday, March 20.

Though Fraser Health says the potential exposure events are believed to be low risk, public health officials ask anyone who visited Shiraz Grill during the above-listed dates and times to monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19. There is no known risk to anyone who attended the restaurant outside of those specified dates and times.

The health authority lists public exposures on their website in order to reach any people who may have potentially become infected who they could not contact privately.

"If people remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and people can continue with their usual daily activities," explains Fraser Health.

Those who do develop any symptoms of COVID-19 are urged to seek testing and then immediately self-isolate.
