The Gentlemen of Fortune are inviting everyone to enjoy an afternoon of barbershop harmonies.
The 20-voice a cappella chorus is holding its Harmony Showcase 2019 on Saturday, May 18 at 2 p.m. at Cliff Avenue United Church.
The showcase, dubbed Everyone in Harmony, will feature the Gentlemen of Fortune along with special guests the Vancouver Thunderbird Chorus. The concert will also feature some of the Gentlemen of Fortune’s own quartets.
The choir recently moved its home base to Burnaby, and the singers rehearse at Cliff Avenue on Tuesday evenings. A recent singing Valentine’s fundraiser allowed the chorus to donate $300 to Burnaby Neighbourhood House.
Cliff Avenue United Church is at 1600 Cliff Ave., Burnaby. Parking is available behind the church.
