The Burnaby Potters’ Guild has a cure for the summertime blues.
The guild is holding its summer show and sale, Summertime Blues, on Saturday, June 8 at Capitol Hill Hall.
The show will include an array of hand-crafted ceramics, including both functional ware and sculptural works.
The Burnaby Potters’ Guild is a long-established group of ceramic artists who work out of Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
“We participate in community events and support the arts centre through donations of equipment and rental of studio space and kilns,” said a press release from the group. “By supporting the guild, you are also supporting the arts in Burnaby.”
Capitol Hill Hall is at 361 South Howard Ave. (at Hastings). The show is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
