It's open mic night time again. The Burnaby Neighbourhood House Community Hall (5024 Rumble St.) plays host to open mic nights on the first Thursday of the month - and that's this week again.

It's open mic night time again.

The Burnaby Neighbourhood House Community Hall (5024 Rumble St.) plays host to open mic nights on the first Thursday of the month - and that's this week again. Be sure to turn out at the hall for this month's fun on Nov. 7.

Vince Wesley will be onstage with his band, Avalon Valley Trio, as the feature artist for this month. Community members are invited to drop in and share their talents as singers, instrumentalists, comedians, poets or spoken word artists. Sign-up starts at 6:15, and performances run from 7 to 8:30, with the featured performer at 8:30 p.m. Admission is by donation (suggested donation of $4), with proceeds to the upkeep of the hall..

Wesley is fresh off a one-man performance of The Raven at the Burnaby Neighbourhood House Community Hall, held Oct. 28 as an early All Hallow's Eve event.
