May the 4th be with you at Burnaby Public Library branches.
The library is getting into the spirit of Star Wars Day with a number of special events.
At the Cameron branch (9523 Cameron St., in Cameron Recreation Complex), families can take part in Star Wars Day fun from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As part of the Burnaby Festival of Learning, there are family activities all day long – including Learn to Make Star Wars Origami for ages six and up; a photo booth and scavenger hunt; a themed Man in the Moon storytime; a family craft featuring light saber making; Techplay with Sphero, and a 2 p.m. screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

At the Tommy Douglas branch (7311 Kingsway), your family can catch a couple of movie screenings - with Solo: A Star Wars Story at 10:30 a.m. and The Force Awakens at 2 p.m. You can just drop in; no registration is required, and there’s no fee.
