Police seek missing man in Metro Vancouver

Police note he communicates using sign language.

Police say Kenneth Wetherald could be in Vancouver, at Vancouver International Airport or using the SkyTrain.

Family and police are seeking Kenneth Wetherald.

The 58-year-old man was last seen on the 13200 block of 96 Avenue in Surrey on June 18 around 8 a.m. He hasn't been heard from since and could be almost anywhere in Metro Vancouver, according to the Surrey RCMP.

"He communicates via sign language and may be wearing an identification bracelet," says Staff Sgt. Duane Honeyman in a press release. "Police and family are concerned for his health and well-being."

Police believe Wetherald may be headed to Vancouver or the airport, and note he is known to use the SkyTrain to move about the city.

He's described as a Caucasian male standing 6'1" and weighing around 160 lbs. He has grey hair and blue eyes.
