The Metro Vancouver Transit Police have detailed a disturbing incident that happened in New Westminster.
The Transit Police dispatch received a text report about “an intoxicated man on SkyTrain who might need help.”
Officers were dispatched to help the man, but instead they ended up getting attacked at the New Westminster SkyTrain station.
According to a Transit Police tweet, an officer was “punched in the face, breaking her nose. Turns out he had warrants and was breaching his release order.”
