A video of a brawl between customers and a staff member - in what appears to be a Richmond supermarket - has gone viral on social media.
The video, which was first posted Friday on Chinese social media WeChat, shows a FoodyWorld staff member, dressed in a red coat, exchanging punches and kicks with a male and female customer near the meat section of the supermarket.
The female customer and the employee are seen shoving each other, before the employee attempts to throw a punch at her. The male customer then punches the employee while pushing him backwards.
The woman then proceeds to grab the male employee from behind and holds him back as he tries to struggle out of her grasp. Meanwhile, the other man continues to punch the employee in the face at the same time.
As the fight continues, the woman is seen taking off one of her shoes and begins hitting the employee with it.
It is unclear what started the fight and when it took place.
Richmond News tried to contact the manager of the supermarket – which is close to No. 3 and Bridgeport roads - but a staff member told the News that the store would not be commenting.
The News reported in January of this year about a brawl between customers in the parking lot of the same supermarket.
