St. Timothy's Church is holding its annual St. Michael's Evensong on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

The quiet evening of hymns and reflection, held on the feast of St. Michael and All Angels, gives those who are grieving a lost loved on an opportunity to come and remember them in prayer.

"Those whom we have loved and have died have not gone from our lives," said Rev. Stephanie Shepard, priest at St. Timothy's, in a press release. "We live with the joys and sorrows of remembrance. Our service both honours their memory and reminds us that in God's love we will see them again."

Those who would like loved ones to be named in remembrance during the service are invited to contact the parish office assistant, Yolanda Lumase, at 604-299-6816, or email office@sainttimothy.ca.
