The Burnaby Artists Guild is once again offering members of the public a chance to have some fun with paint and have their artwork permanently displayed in a public space.

A painting workshop will be held at Edmonds Community Centre on Friday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. where people can create five by seven inch canvases, which will be used collectively to create a mural to be displayed at B.C. Children's Hospital.

Members of the guild have designed two four by four foot murals, which have been divided into the smaller squares, each to be painted with the specified colours that will make up the greater pictures. Members of the guild will be on hand to help and admire the process. All levels of artistic ability are welcome, from first-time painters to experienced artists, and all materials will be supplied.
