Know someone who works with children and youth and deserves some recognition? The fifth annual Representative for Children and Youth B.C. - Award of Excellence is now accepting nominations.
The awards recognize and encourage excellence in B.C.'s child-and youth-serving systems. Individuals and organizations whose work contributes to improving the lives of children and youth in the province are acknowledged for their efforts.
An awards ceremony will be held in the fall.
Categories include: innovative services award of excellence, service provider award of excellence, youth leadership award of excellence, lifetime achievement award of excellence, advocacy award of excellence, cultural heritage and diversity award of excellence.
The deadline for nominations is Aug. 1 at 4 p.m.
