A free Art and Craft Workshop is being offered by Culture Chats on Monday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at the Bonsor Recreation Complex, Multipurpose Room 1.

Children are invited to join with their parents or caregivers. Culture Chats workshops introduce multicultural arts and crafts to community. Recycled or upcycled materials are used as supplies where possible.

The workshops are open for all. Families are invited to join in and spend a fun morning getting creative together.

Contact them at culturechats@gmail.com if you are interested or would like more information. Alternatively, register on the Culture Chats BC Meetup Group (https://www.meetup.com/culture-chats-bc-meetups/)

Local artists will facilitate the workshops through zoom. Culture Chats works with multicultural artists who bring a wealth of knowledge of different traditions and world arts.

In the past, they have worked with Lori Goldberg, Vishakha Patil, Clarissa Banos, Rozy Singh and others to create beautiful crafts and paintings.

They are looking forward to work again with Lori Goldberg for another workshop on May 8 in the afternoon. Funding from the Burnaby Festival of Learning is gratefully acknowledged.
