The Edmonds Community Centre is hosting a free workshop on electric scooters and motorized wheelchairs.
The event focuses on the safe use of motorized wheelchairs and electric scooters. The event is on Tuesday, June 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Edmonds Community Centre, at 7433 Edmonds St.
Burnaby RCMP crime prevention officers will be on hand to offer information, while representatives from MediChair, a home medical equipment company, will help with maintenance tips. Admission is free, but you need to pre-register by calling 604-297-4838, use barcode 360085. Caregivers are welcome to attend.
